Term 2:                          READING CHALLENGE 

This term the library is running a variety of activities and competitions to support reading for pleasure.  Year 7 and 8 students can enter the popular Hell Pizza Reading Challenge.   All students are eligible to enter the 100 Word Book Review - see details below.  More competitions and activities will be added later in the term. Pick up your Hell Reading Challenge
wheel from the library - just ask at the desk.
All you have to do pop into the library each time you finish reading a book and the librarians will stamp your wheel. Once you have 7 stamps you can then get your free pizza!  You can read a mixture of novels, non-fiction, graphic, and picture books.  

100 Word Book Review.  The best review this term will win this $30 voucher and there are prizes for the runners up.   The review has to be on a book in our library and have no more and no less than 100 words - that's not many words! To enter go to the dhslibrary catalogue, find the book you are reviewing and click the the review button. See the video above if you are not sure how to do this.
